Who We Are.
Mast Architects is a medium size award winning firm with over 25 years of practise.
The firm is headed by David Chui and supported by a team of talented Architects and Technologists. David acquired his Bachelor of Architectural Technology from Ryerson Polytechnic University and attended the University of Michigan graduating with a Master of Architecture in 1996.
He interned in the State of Michigan under JPRA PeterHansRea and Hamilton Anderson Architects from 1996-1999 on projects including MGM Casino, and numerous Retail Projects in Kansas, New York, Tennessee and Michigan.
From the time period of 1999-2002, David interned at Kideney Architects in the state of New York. David was the lead designer for the following projects: Ralph Wilson Buffalo Bills Stadium Expansion, AIA award winning design for National Air Cargo, Competition winning design for Adelphia Communications, Cincinnati Reds Expansion, San Diego Padres Expansion, San Antonio Spurs Expansion, Shea’s Performing Arts Centre Expansion and various medical projects throughout the United States.
David became principal of Mast Architects, formerly ACK Architects in 2006. David has been practising in the province of Ontario from 2002 to present. From this period David has successfully overseen hundreds of projects. David holds an architectural license in the province of Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Saskatchewan, as well as the State of New York. David is also LEED AP certified.
